When love-planet Venus enters practical and perfectionistic Virgo on Wednesday, we have to be careful that we don’t nit-pick our relationships or our finances to death. For the next few weeks—until August 15th—instead of beating ourselves up for “mistakes” we’ve make with our budget or with our Bae, let’s instead focus on how we can be of service. This will take this exacting energy and funnel it in a productive way!

The Sun glides into Leo, a placement that brings ease, warmth, and vitality for us all! The next month is a time to be feisty, fiery, and dare I say a bit dramatic! Full Moon in Aquarius on 7/23:
Remember anything important you started, or a new direction you started to move in, after February 11th this year? The days surrounding Friday are the time to see what blossomed, what progressed to a new level, what needs to end, and what you still need to make a decision about!
This is the first of TWO consecutive Full Moons in the sign of Aquarius this year! As you’re about to find out, this first one is more jarring—all about endings and restrictions. Don’t worry, though: we get a cosmic do-over next month, which is all about expansion and celebration!
So, Aquarius Full Moon #1:
With the restrictive energies of this particular Full Moon—it’s conjunct (meeting up with) sobering Saturn AND power monger Pluto—it could very well be that a lot of those considerations/New Moon intentions in mid February seem irrelevant to you now. And that’s ok. Not every seed that’s planted makes it to harvest. And, in fact (as I’m an avid gardener), I’ll tell you firsthand how thinning the seeds is important so that the rest of your seedlings have enough resources (soil, room, nutrients, water) to reach their potential! You have to sacrifice the ones that don’t show as much promise and bet on the ones that do.
The same is true in life! Not every idea deserves your precious life force energy, and thinking it does will overwhelm you. And, I’ll ALSO tell you from experience, even if you swear you aren’t spending time or energy on something that doesn’t align right now, there is a huge energetic boon to officially saying the words and formally ending something that no longer fits…instead of letting it fizzle.
When you go the easy way out and just let the energy fizzle…it’s still there, and it’s still depleting you. For instance, when I quit a few things (an MLM, a goddess circle, and a dance studio that was no longer meeting my needs in the moment), I almost immediately had a swell of energy…and have since WRITTEN THREE BOOKS. (Yes, they’re test prep study guides, but STILL!)
Cosmic Advice? I foresee some endings at this Full Moon. However, they don’t need to be traumatic, once you understand that when you cut ties with what no longer serves you, you gain that energy back so the other relationships and projects can truly blossom. Plus, we have ANOTHER Aquarius Full Moon that’s much kinder to look forward to on August 22nd!
