This week is what February 2021 is ALL about: the buildup of Aquarian energy into a culmination at the February 11th New Moon…along with the predictably unpredictable activity of our Retrograde Mercury, which wreaks some havoc here and some sparks of genius there.
New Moon in Aquarius on 2/11 at 2:06pm EST / 11:06am PST:
Get ready for the culmination of all that humanitarian, tech-savvy, rebellious Aquarian energy that you’ve been feeling! So far, we’ve already had FIVE planets in this quirky sign, but on Thursday, we have our New Moon in this part of our horoscope wheel, too.
For those bad at math, that makes SIX PLANETS ALL IN AQUARIUS! We haven’t had THIS many planets all in the sign of the Water Bearer for ALMOST 60 YEARS!
So not only do we each feel “themes” this month—areas of our lives where our energy and attention, luck, and ambition are all centered—but we also have the New Moon to turn all of that festering energy into a vision for how we’d like to radically shift those areas in our lives!
This New Moon makes a nasty angle with Mars, we we might go about taking those first steps in a rather aggressive way if we aren’t careful. Also, Uranus has a cosmic clash with Venus, Saturn and Jupiter, which doesn’t bode well for our electronic devices or online profiles, but, but, BUT…
Venus + Jupiter perfectly meet up (also in Aquarius), giving us boundless luck, opportunity, pleasure and ease to all that we desire to manifest (and also protecting us from the fallout of any possible sudden upsets from Mars and/or Uranus).
As always, I encourage you to get still sometime in the hours AFTER the New Moon has occurred to see what intentions pop into your soul. I normally say “write your wishes”—and that holds. However, don’t write them from the place of your mind telling you what your next “steps” are to accomplish…do it from a place of stillness, so your inner voice might be able to whisper what SHE desires…even if it doesn’t quite make “sense.” Get it?
Here are the areas where this “stellium” or cluster of planets is exponentializing the energy for each of us. Go all in and own up to your vision/intentions. You may see the most magical actualizations of it come six months from now:

SAGITTARIUS - communication, relationships with siblings and neighbors
CAPRICORN - earned income, big purchases, values
AQUARIUS - self awareness, image, personal dreams
PISCES - releasing emotional patterns, healing, rest, intuition

Beware not to say anything too harsh that you can’t take back…or rather, if you ARE going to say something on the bolder side, make sure you’re fine with never being able to take it back! Today would be a day when “counting to 10” should be your go-to.
Mercury meets up with Venus on 2/12:
Chinese New Year gets a heartfelt opening, as our communication planet meets up with love and abundance planet Venus! Our hearts and minds will work together for once, allowing us to express our feelings with nuance, compassion and precision. I realize Valentine’s Day is on Sunday, but start professing some vulnerable feelings TODAY to get the love bug vibes flowing all weekend long!
Mercury meets up with Jupiter on 2/12:
FANTASTIC day to make your Valentine dreams come true! (Or merely, your New Moon dreams come true!)

Remember that Mercury in Retrograde doesn’t immediately spell DISASTER to everything! I recently found out that the Beatles signed their record deal while Mercury was retrograde…and they did QUITE well, thankyouverymuch! The whole point is to make especially sure that the details are taken care of and to not let them slide…NOT to hide under your comforter or show up to your Zoom meetings late and excuse your bad behavior.
