Feeling the pressure?
Two planets—Venus and retrograde Mercury—enter the judicious sign of Libra on Tuesday…inching closer to disharmonious angles with Pluto, Jupiter and Saturn. As we feel the intensity grow over the course of the week, we’ll ALSO feel our annual Taurus Full Moon on Halloween, which is shocking and jarring.
All three of these cosmic occurrences happen on the backdrop of the continued Mercury and Mars retrogrades, which makes everyone more flaky, fuzzy, and contentious. Fun times!
Venus + Retrograde Mercury shimmy into Libra on 10/27:
Harmonious Venus enters her ruling sign Libra on Tuesday, as does backwards-spinning Mercury. Expect personal and business partnerships, the arts, beauty, and social justice to take center stage, both in what we desire…and in what we’re thinking about. Our communications will retract from the pungent, spiky Scorpio jabs…to more diplomatic, cooperative wording that will help smooth over disagreements.
That said, these two “inner” planets are inching closer and closer to a real cosmic catfight with the three powerful “outer” planets (Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn), whose common tour through Capricorn has been a defining feature for 2020.
How I see this: most of us want to UNITE, have peace and JUSTICE for all, and have PLEASURE in our lives again. This is coming to a head against the prevailing powers that be—who believe in towering over, ruling over, controlling, “law and order,” hierarchy, and who have been making directives that have sapped the joy and fun out of daily life.
Funny that lots of it comes to a head surrounding election day.

Taurus Full Moon on 10/31 at 10:49AM EST / 7:49AM PST:
This “Hunter’s Moon” (second Full Moon after the Fall Equinox) is also a “Blue Moon,” simply because it’s the second Full Moon happening within the calendar month of October. Full Moons in general are times to finish up projects, make a decision, or find closure on certain areas of our lives: this particular Full Moon points to shifts and endings in our finances and romantic relationships.
Unfortunately for us, the extra emotional intensity of the Full Moon also coincides with the Sun opposing Uranus in the sky: we might suddenly find out shocking news and have to think on our feet. In addition, lots of planets are angry on this day—warrior Mars fights with controlling Pluto and Saturn, while chatty Mercury pokes at secretive Pluto. In other words: expect that any secret you’ve been hiding will resurface now, you’ll have to face the music! And it’ll happen in a shocking, unexpected way! (Or else, you’ll find out someone ELSE’s secret, and have to adjust accordingly.)
Cosmic advice: stay on the DL if you can, and don’t insert yourself into situations where you’re actively in the heat of a tug-of-war!
