Cosmic hangover, anyone?
We’re still feeling the aftermath of last week’s Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius, which brought drama, movement, endings and decisions, seemingly all at once. And we’ve hardly even begun to deal with yesterday’s Mercury Retrograde, which will continue to scramble our signals for the next three weeks!
The only big change for this week is that love and abundance planet Venus leaves the restless sign of Gemini and moves into nurturing Cancer on Wednesday.

You may have felt restless and stir-crazy before, when Venus was in Gemini and all we collectively wanted to do was reunite with our friends and family and finally be social once more. However, by Wednesday, we might be socialed-out. I’m betting that with this Venus transit, we’ll now relish the quiet intimacy with those closest to us. We’ll need more downtime between social activities to recharge. Sort of like a reverse-FOMO, if you will.
Now onto LOVE:
If you’re single and looking, you might be super cautious about whom you let into your energetic space—do they drain you, or does their presence feel comforting or neutral? Pay attention to these signs for your own emotional well-being. If you’re meeting in person, you might only be able to handle an hour or two of physical presence before your energy starts to lag. Maybe make it a coffee date or a quick food truck in the park date, instead of committing to a long, multi-course dinner with a reservation. Make sense? Make sure that you have time to recalibrate and self-nurture, as you’ll be extra sensitive!
If you’re already attached, you might take a page out of last year’s quarantine book and spend your quality time together in your home! Yeah, restaurants may be open, but maybe the intimacy of a home-cooked gourmet meal over Netflix is just what Venus ordered. You and your partner might also get amped up about home improvement and visiting each other’s families more. For the next few weeks, home really is where the heart is!
