Taurus Season begins on 4/19:
The Sun moves into peaceful, hardworking, and luxurious Taurus for the next month. The energy shift asks us to commune with nature and to find presence in simple, sensual routines.
The act of planting herbs in your garden (or windowsill!) and of chopping vegetables for a slow-cooked meal could be the exact form of meditation you need to get your work done, create work in the first place, and stay emotionally stable.
Taurus Season asks us where we can indulge more of our five sense:
Can you take 15 minutes to actively listen to some of your favorite songs, hearing the texture of the harmonies and the instrumentation?
Can you savor every morsel of your food without distraction?
Can you apply your body lotion after your bath like a ritual of appreciation to your own shape, instead of just slapping on oil to “get it done”?
Can you take two minutes to light a candle or set up a diffuser to create a lovely scent for your home?
Taurus also rules practical matters, both the accumulation and expenditures of daily living. Where can you be more conscious, only doling out your time, money and energy where you know you’ll be truly nourished? It’s not about hoarding or depriving, but making sure every exchange truly supports you and your values.
